12. We Almost Broke Up Again Last Night
Standout Lyric: “Big deal we’ve been here before and we’ll be here tomorrow”
Slow, melodic, entrancing, and there’s nothing wrong with a ballad, so why is it last? Compared to the rest of the album, the song just doesn’t match up in it’s distinctiveness. The melody and production feel repetitive, in turn making the track forgettable and mediocre.
11. My Man on Willpower
Standout Lyric: “He fell in love with self restraint and now it’s getting out of hand”
My Man on Willpower puts Sabrina’s trademark witty lyrics and catchy tunes on full showcase. However, the song unfortunately suffers from blending into the rest of her discography. I’d love to see a little more musical experimentation and evolution in Sabrina’s future.
10. Tears

Standout Lyric: “Remembering how to use your phone gets me oh so, oh so, oh so hot”
Sabrina’s no beginner when it comes to sassy and provocative lyrics, and Tears is possibly the best example of this on the record. The single serves primarily as “shock value” to interest audiences, making it more of a marketing strategy than an artistic work. But don’t worry, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with loving this bop!
9. Goodbye
Standout Lyric: “Well, sayonara, adiós, you’re not bilingual, but you should know”
As the album’s closer, Goodbye attempts to showcase all the wit, sass, and addicting tunes explored throughout the record in one final song. Unfortunately, it’s rudimentary melody ends up feeling repetitive and used.
8. Manchild

Standout Lyric: “Never heard of self-care, half your brain just ain’t there”
As the lead single, Manchild successfully introduces the album’s theme through its witty commentaries on men and country-pop inspired production. However, it’s difficult the shake off the industry engineered feel of this melody. If it weren’t for the record’s funded publicity, would it have become so popular?
7. Never Getting Laid
Standout Lyric: “I just hope you get agoraphobia some day”
Sabrina is known for her many slow, melodic (and alike) ballads, especially in previous projects. But the main component that sets this track apart from the rest is undoubtably it’s moody, lounge-style instrumental. The melody itself is pretty regular, but with vibes, anything is possible nowadays.
6. Go Go Juice
Standout Lyric: “Do you me still love?”
In Go Go Juice, Sabrina playfully sings about drinking all her problems away. It’s characteristic production and lyrics work together to deliver a vivid listening experience, building a chaotically wonderful atmosphere.
5. Don’t Worry I’ll Make You Worry
Standout Lyric: “But on the forty minute drive home, you’re internalizing my jokes”
Mesmerizing and melodious, yet humorous and clever? Only Sabrina could create such a track. A beautifully witty track through-and-through, undoubtably one of my favorites.
4. House Tour
Standout Lyric: “And I promise none of this is a metaphor”
House Tour is one of the album’s most critically acclaimed tracks, with many praising it’s originality and experimentation. Catchy, clever, and unique? I see no problems.
3. Nobody’s Son
Standout Lyric: “He sure fucked me up, and yes I’m talking ’bout your baby”
It’s hard to dislike this track, as it somehow encapsulates the feeling of disparity in most contrastingly cheerful way possible. The production on Nobody’s Son stands out for it’s playful, upbeat nature, well in accordance to it’s catchy lyrics and melody.
2. Sugar Talking
Standout Lyric: “You’re havin’ these epiphanies, big word for a real small mind”
Alright, alright, I know this track sounds recycled, I know it belongs on Short n’ Sweet. But is it bad? Absolutely not. Being one of the most lyrically complex songs on the record, there’s no denying Sugar Talking’s greatness. The clever track makes a superb ballad and I’m just glad we got it.
1. When Did You Get Hot?

Standout Lyric: “Thank the Lord, the fine you has risen”
Being possibly the most experimental track of the album, When Did You Get Hot definitely takes a sharp turn in Sabrina’s discography. The irregular melody and quirky instrumental make for a striking record highlight that’ll ultimately be a major defining moment for this era. The song shows promise for evolution in Sabrina’s future, and I can’t wait to see it!
